Chief Delivery Officer (Corporate)

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as our Chief Delivery Officer. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Chief Executive and is a pivotal and crucial member of our executive team. You will ensure the Trust’s corporate functions, including governance, planning and communications operate smoothly and effectively and you will be entrusted with a broad spectrum of strategic oversight and leadership responsibilities to ensure that Trust’s corporate affairs are undertaken to the highest standards of probity and according to statutory and legislative requirements.   You will provide key support to the Chief Executive in the development and delivery of our Well Led Programme and will lead our Freedom to Speak Up Programme.

To be successful in this role you will need to build strong relationships with the Chief Executive, Executive Directors, Chair and Non-Executive Directors to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of issues. You will also need to build relationships across our partners in the two ICS’s we work within so that as an organisation we can focus on delivering high quality services that are cost effective across the whole systems.

We are looking for a leader who is experienced at working at, or close to, Board with broad experience across corporate services including; governance, planning, programme delivery and communications. As a key member of the Trust Board, you will be expected to role model our values and take shared accountability for the delivery of our work across performance, quality, workforce, finance and implementation of regional and national priorities.
