Director of Corporate Affairs
We are looking for an individual with significant leadership experience. This role holds a crucial and influential position within the Trust Executive and Board, holding the responsibility for ensuring the Trust’s governance and corporate functions operate smoothly and effectively. You will lead on leading on board governance, the trust wide planning function, the effective running of the Executive offices and non-executive support. As a key member of the Trust Board, you will have shared accountability for the delivery of our work across performance, quality, workforce, finance and implementation of regional and national priorities.
We are looking for an experienced leader with experience in corporate affairs, strategy and planning. Your experience will come Ideally from the NHS with an understanding of the governance requirement of a Foundation Trust, or from a related highly regulated public facing sector.
Trust Secretary
You will be responsible for overseeing the good management of Board business including the work of Board Committees in line with the Trust’s statutory and regulatory responsibilities including the NHS Foundation Trust Code of Governance, you will also be responsible for overseeing the production of the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts, and other statutory reporting requirements. As we are a Foundation Trust, you will also be responsible for management of the Council of Governors and Trust membership, as well as corporate administration including oversight of all of Trusts policies and procedures. You will need to have the experience to work closely with the executive leadership team, Non-Executive Directors and Council of Governors in ensuring that the business of our Trust is managed in a safe and compliant manner. You will ideally be ICSA, or equivalent qualified.
